que sera, wax tailor

im serious when i tell you that on Tuesday night I saw a head on collision happen right in front of me. both drivers were fine thank god, but it was crazy. it happened on south border rd, which im now being told to just avoid in general because its a dangerous street

tonight i drove through fog. they play soccer games in the fog. television cameras record the games even though it's hazy. the fog gets so bad here that your brights in your car make it worse.

in hanover we used to row in the fog, thick as pea soup, in the morning before it burned off. zero visibility, risky rowing. i remember being at the river ranch and watching upriver as a wall of fog slowly glided down the connecticut. much cooler than the fog in pirate movies.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST THURSDAY.

DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED NORTH AND WEST OF THE INTERSTATE 95 CORRIDOR THIS EVENING. VISIBILITIES HAVE DROPPED TO 1/4 MILE ACROSS MANY LOCATIONS AND ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN THROUGH MUCH OF THE NIGHT. THIS DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED TO LIFT MID-MORNING.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN DENSE FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO 1/4 MILE OR LESS FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO SLOW DOWN AS OBJECTS ON AND NEAR ROADWAYS WILL BE SEEN ONLY AT CLOSE RANGE.

I don't understand that road. Ok lets say you want to avoid so. border road. How do you expect me to get onto 93? That's just silly I'm not going to medf'd. And I sure as surefire won't be traveling north first.

Why do people crash there? It's not like its that twisty. And you cant say "he was on his cell phone" because service on that road sucks. But people crash there I guess. Stupid. That's dumb. I don't like it.

Plus, given the area you'd think the real danger would be hitting turkeys. The fells has a pretty epic turkey populus.

Cheers
