the shirtless man in shorts shovelling the sidewalk in front of the middle east

i spent a while in the car today. i drove through waltham, arlington, belmont, cambridge, boston, brookline, somerville. the going was slow. it is now the 14th.

i know someone that got a dog.

i'm talking with someone now that i haven't talked to in a long time.

i'm trying to make a decision (but am i really?).

i am becoming more disparate, disentangled, disassociated, disassembled. under mi sleng teng

i don't so much type as splat, i don't so much write as blotter, i don't so much compose as dispose, i don't so much blog as scribble, i don't so much report as ramble, i don't so much compile as pile on.

i'm thinking about the way the snow makes you feel. the snow falls and rests, flake on flake, in drifts that rest on car doors and church walls.

i sit in my living room and the snow continues to fall, and the inches on the sloping roof of the church tumble down.

at dartmouth the snow and ice used to fall off the buildings directly into the path you were about to be walking in. i saw many abandoned cars on the road tonight

k. let's listen to duke ellington's nutcracker suite. then vince guaraldi charlie brown christmas. then hot chocolate, then dream
