happiness is a three syllable word

i'm good. talked to some folks today, i'll have a job soon enough. not really frustrated, just demonstrating proper response techniques

having a really good time. hung out with jeff and matt and pat today, brookline lunch was closed.

we went to the attic, pat got a black and gold sox hat and we looked at the paintings of the guy that's making a mural on pat's wall.

the footlocker in central sq leaves much to be desired.

went to cambridge coffee shop, watched celtics replay.

went to harvard museum of natural history, saw the glass flowers exhibit, totally lifelike.

how it's made, basketball, celtics domination. hanging out with paul and farah and brian, who are hilarious and wonderful. getting happy messages and having happy calls

i feel the same way. finally got frustrated today. i'll write a good cover letter though and take it from there

so on saturday i was driving around back bay, and just happened to pass by groups of scientology protestors wearing guy fawkes masks. i didn't know it was the second worldwide protest

i yelled in support out my window and they were pleased and shouted.

at a stop light i received a business card in return for my exuberance, passed by hand through my driver side window

it reads: "Have you found us? Or have we found you? Now what? YOUFOUNDTHECARD.com"

well, not for me

so looks like i'm getting into putting up creepy photos. don't worry, i leave out the really creepy ones

jeff actually wants me to come to spain. this is a loaded decision

yesterday i went to see howley and macklin, it had been a bit. luckily roy wasn't there, otherwise i would have gotten in a fight with him because he hasn't shaved or gotten a haircut. magma | lava, geothermal heat, macklin educating me in call of duty, circuit city idiots at jillians.

i've gotten over the pats loss. overcome! celtics at pacers, 7pm tonight. gettttttttttttttt ready. i just dropped the remote and neither of the batteries fell out. success!

i've been progressively deleting | adding music from | to my computer. whoa

i love | hate jeff when he calls | uppercuts me. whoa

i usually enjoy | dislike my brothers company when he entertains | pesters me. jeff, is this making you | me uncomfortable?

jeff liked it when i used the q&a format. think of all the different formats there are. for example, the epistolary format (like in dracula)!

dear blog,
i woke up today, i was reminded of the email i got from jen krimm and her article, "Want Fries With That Frustration?", in the Washington Post, about how she can't get a job.

at first, i did not have any expectations for this day. i was soon looking forward to listening to music and reading, which are a couple of lifes exquisite pleasures. it doesn't get much better than this, i'll tell you.

as of 11:36am, i still need to eat my morning banana. every morning this challenge presents itself to me, and every day i complete it. it takes a great deal of effort and concentration.

get all the 'B' Series DJ Mixes on the DJ C Music page

also, Shake It To The Ground (Switch & Santogold Remix) by DJ Blaqstarr is it. Creator by Santogold w/FreQ Nasty also is it.

last night me matt and clynton went to the central sq shaws late night, i had never even been there. it was a lot of fun, about as much fun as grocery shopping can be.

just left the cart in the middle and spent forever running back and forth to it. by the end it was overflowing and the bottom was stuffed too. it took two carts to get everything bagged back to the car, then a while on the sidewalk running up and down the stairs (the lights were out in the hallways) to get everything upstairs.

really interesting story huh? i tell such schweet stories.

mucho basketball on today. i want uconn to beat georgia tech, cause uconn isnt gonna lose another game this regular season!

but is this too much tv? is having two tvs right next to each other too much like a sports bar? is media overload really necessary?

yes, yes, yes. is watching tv on mute happiness? yes. does majoring in film and tv make you a better analyst of televisual content? depends on how much tv you watch!

do new media studies, cyber culture, film studies, television studies, and cultural theory make for great reading? yes.

do i want to enroll in mit's comparative media studies program? no.

dude patrick ewing jr (who looks just like patrick ewing) and doc rivers's son play on georgetown. does this make you wanna root for them? yes.

am i looking forward to reading john hodgmans the areas of my expertise? yes. is this annoying? yes.

the celtics won, beat la clippers. couple things -- sam cassell, alien man, got ejected from the game for clocking rondo (dwight howard should have gotten thrown out of the last magic game for the same thing, but rondo stole his identity and ducked out of the way just in time)

also, there's a law/theory that the clippers announcer has that says -- in an nba game, the first team to score 100 points wins. turns out it's right nearly all of the time

quick ups | reemerge

reemerge. i wanted to let you know what i've been downloading recently. it's been way too easy to find these albums online just by googling the artist name and mediafire or megupload. i don't wanna get in trouble for this, but i've been steadily doing it since like middle school, so i feel invincible

look for 2007/2008 albums from these:

hell razah, dj babu, joe beats, mr hill, percee p, hot chip, z-trip, fink, lil' wayne, blockhead, mr cooper, beezy mc, dave gahan, jose gonzalez, dj khaled, prodigy, joell ortiz, project pat, luckyiam, the upstarts, blue scholars, lack of afro, thes one, clark

also, here's a good top 100 list of the best rap albums of 2007 Norfeest "Yes Yes Y'all" (Washington DC USA)

i'm reminded i need to get back to more goofy poetic ramblings. k, where is it.

first, i wanted to say that i walked by a doorstep and a guy with a guitar asked me "do you want to hear an original song?". also, last night there was a burning christmas tree on my block. traffic was briefly backed up.

but back to the fragmented text clippings. gimme a second

proper attribution | Rena wrote a poem

this is a sign that used to live near me, it is now the title of Rena's blog and possibly future titles of hers. she writes about the above photo, "jed took it...it inspires my poetry...there are no white whales in the conn. river"

"Here we have the sign which inspired the title of this blog. It sits on the bank of the Connecticut River in Norwich, Vermont."

rena writes, "...here is a poem i made with lines from your posts that i particularly like..."

she clarified on her blog that "This poem is composed of lines from Dave's blog about impressive things which struck me as particularly poetic. I selected and arranged them, but did not change the lines at all, except to capitalize some letters. So I didn't actually "write" this poem. But Dave didn't write it either. This brings up questions of authorship, as does my spam poems and the poem I wrote from Marc's e-mails. What do you think?"

i love this poem. by Rena Mosteirin

i read this interview with the underground london dubstep artist burial, it's kinda long, but he says some really crazy cool things and it's really strange but kind of awesome.

ok that's the worst description i've ever given anything, but there are still some gems

‘there’s nothing worse for a human being than to see a face where it doesn’t belong’.

cop out | the sickness

last nights post was a cop out. but i didnt feel really well all of yesterday, and now i think i might feel a little worse, so i'm sick. i don't want to admit though, even that i'm a little sick, so i'll say i'm barely sick

went to the broadway auto gas and service station today at prospect and broadway. i needed a tail light and an inspection.

as i was talking to the mechanic, who was by himself on one of the busiest days of the year, a guy came over and asked for directions to buckingham browne and nichols. the mechanic had never heard of it and thought it was a street, i told dude where to go, but probably got him even more lost.

so the mechanic says wait right here, and then installs the light, inspects the car, and gives me a new sticker all in the span of about 10 minutes. it couldn't have been any longer. i was ready to go hang out at home and wait, but instead the heavens opened up and...well i should have tipped the guy.

hard drive's full again, whens the next macworld again? aright i gotta get well.

i was thinking and i realized that since i started doing this blog the past couple of months i've become pretty silly. i sometimes think this isn't a great thing, that i'm missing out, that i'm lame and not cool. but that's ok right? i like feeling lame and not lame and cool and not cool at the same time.

durante | job interview

kevin durant does not want to lose to the celtics tonight. i was supposed to have a job interview today but instead i have one in framingham on wednesday.

that's right, framingham, wednesday. it's at the place that isn't techtarget or reed business, it's the third place.

today i splashed through central sq, gotta go to the gym first thing tmrw morning. came back, chris brought jade and warner over, matt fay took the red line here with a ton of luggage, and andy came over.

it's been awesome. none of us have seen matt or jade in forever, and we had fun with andy. pretty much just eating chinese food and party shuffle. the cheap red wine is cheap and red and wine.

eddie house makes it rain.

we don't remember but we remember that the other one doesn't.

the central square cvs

the central square cvs

reviewed on yelp.com:

"MAN, I love the Central Square CVS! Never before have these many crazies congregated at a location that's supposed to carry serious business. It's mad sketchy, y'all. Everyone who comes here/works here IS a crazy (this includes myself - I did once entered drunk off my ass yelling "cookie dough!"). From the lady at the counter that used to creep me out, to the dude that hands out the photographs, to the crack lady hanging right outside: I love it! Seriously, just walk in there, buy a soda, a bag of chips and waste your time there long enough and you'll see something fascinating.
ACTUALLY, we should have an entry dedicated to that whole block in Central Square. So many stories! My favorite might be this one time I sat on the bus stop bench to chat with 2 homeless dudes and one of them told me: "Careful young lady. They defecated on there. Go home. Wash your clothes, shoes and hair." Priceless!"

“Jesus Was Way Cool”

“Jesus Was Way Cool”

everything is alright. bovine ska and rocksteady from 12-6am tonight doing best 33 ska, best 33 rocksteady, and best 33 early reggae tracks of all time.

am i staying up til 6am? not this time. but i might have to call into the station at like 2am to give generoso support.

again, merry christmas. not sure what's gonna happen this week, hopefully see some more people, absolutely must go skiing or work out. check out the vocals, savage drums

do you think that there are going to be riots in boston saturday night if the patriots beat the giants? i do.

oh yeah have you seen the pullout poster on americas shadow government thats in the jon stewart america book? i tried to find a digital copy of it but came up empty. we used to have that on the wall at the river ranch. i'm trying to see more dartmouth people, but snow and historical sports moments are impeding

oh yeah i setup an account on intjforum.com we'll see how that goes. thinking about my personality type is an extremely egotistical enterprise.

ugh i think i ate too much tonight. which means i'm gonna eat more today. at least it's not carrot cake icing! inside blog joke!

happy christmas!

happy christmas!

missing mondays. as in i didnt manage to hack a post during monday. now it's christmas, merry christmas! may you sleigh and fly. the hindu kush, the diesel fuel.

aright, i'll tell you. so i started checking out mit's free courses last night. i got particularly interested in their comparative media and new media classes, as well as classes on television. i even listened to a lecture on tv. and now i wanna listen to more lectures!

but don't take my word for it, geek out Free Online Course Materials | MIT OpenCourseWare

also, in the new york times article about the words of 2007 i came across this: "tumblelog n.

A Web site or blog that is a collection of brief links to, quotes from, or comments about things a person has encountered while Web browsing. It is a sort of digital commonplace book."

this is an aspiration of mine. but links take work. well, i'll work on it.

k y'all, listen the minister, listen to the reverend, it's christmas time. in the bluest state, try not to think about holyoke.

a white christmas isn't as good as a quiet one. bbp, i'm avoiding a couple choice things. avoidance is hard to avoid. like discipline.

the kind of life we're living

the kind of life we're living.

ok, the past 24 hours have been fun. today i bumped into generoso, the host of wmbr's bovine ska and rocksteady.

we chatted in the checkout line of the central sq liquidation store. i got his email, i somehow need to send him and wmbr up to 30gb.

pats won, celts playing kind of shady now.

last night faith and demers and joanna came over. red wine with matt, tree decorating. a staple from a copy of the new yorker was substituted for a needle, and popcorn was strung.

joanna baked me a cake! a giant chocolate cake with colored m&ms. the m&ms form a sand mandala. except instead of sand it's chocolate.

joanna, unable to celebrate many christmases due to dietary restrictions, was able to decorate the tree, but refused to water it.

faith had a mae shi shirt, do they come in xxl?

matt flew back to seattle today. it's gonna be a quiet apt, but fine because meditating 2x20 min a day is the new way.

tree looks really good, with hat gloves scarf boots and cards. listen to demers's stories.

thanks for the birthday cheer and presents! looking up.

under the tree | under the table

hiiii, it's a good day, a good birthday. the tree has been decorated more, and is resplendent in candy canes and pink lights. being a quarter of a century old, i think of myself as a year younger

the day before my birthday

the day before my birthday. or rather, the evening. it's the solstice. which means days will be getting longer! circadian rhythms that stay the same.

ok i went to shaws for the first time in a while, and i got the $1.49 carrot cake slice. bad idea. i've had a stomach ache ever since. it's kind of a novelty for me to have a stomach ache, which is cool, and i'm glad i'm not really sick like rob is.

celtics are beating the bulls right now. the clock isn't working now, jeez.

i got hana sushi, yakisoba. "i guess they're muting the boos on this channel."

right on, i'm down. rob and i have been having a good time cracking up and making jokes and things. laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

rob wants to be a fly on the wall when tyrus thomas and big baby hang out.

are you john mccain? do you support this message?

how would you like ralph nader to be characterized in our textbooks?

you know what i found impressive?

you know what i found impressive? 720 dunk. twice in the air.

tonight was great. ok, first, today was great. it's a snow day, which means you don't leave. or, either you go home and then don't leave, or, like me, you wake up, and then go to whole foods for a second, and then don't leave.

the sad part is is that i was supposed to see kate mulley and jade and everyone. instead................

asgard, lotsa fun. actually we walked into the enormous room first, but the party was somewhere else!! oh yeah, and at the asgard it was guitar hero night, which meant rock band night, which meant 4 people singing playing guitar playing bass and drumming and it was mostly us.

fun and funny, drinks and drinks and beers and the magic hat seasonal is the best thing ive ever tasted. no this isnt a drunken call or a drunken blitz or a drunken dial or a drunken text.

ok it's called roxy Rolles.

this is clyntons last night in boston for a while, sadness. moment of silence.

ok. sun will rise, whatchoono. flash bang

snowed in | cancellations

the snow has not stopped snowing. the cumulative accumulating accumulations. ok i'm reading still life with woodpecker by tom robbins, then i wanna read everything else by him.

matt and clynton are still here, which makes this place the funniest apt around. how i did i get this lucky?

but kate mulley wants people to hang out at her place in newton tonight, but is that going to be a cancellation?

i got a voicemail from jade and talked to her online. she's taking the train to harvard sq, i'll give her a call from central sq.

celtics game was a lot of fun last night. jeff had to go see their first home loss, which is tough. lot to talk about, but it was exciting and felt like a playoff game.

so much good music to listen to, including thes one of people under the stairs. people under the stairs played a show at tabard back in the fall of 2003. noah made it happen. we walked across the green blasting their cd on a boombox.

aright, nba live. gonna play unreal tournament 4 soon, can't wait. what's your guess, how many inches of snow does Boston get today?

the statement that fills the void that arises

the statement that fills the void that arises. the calls come in. floating david bowie strangeness.

celtics pistons 7pm tonight, jeffs going with a couple friends, i'll be watching in cambridge. got a nice celtics sweatshirt.

the combination vegetarian place from falafel palace. the sidewalks slip and the snow mounds melt. salt and sand and more salt and more sand. snowed in, dug out, plowed in, shovelled out.

skiing. whoops wrong button. cross country, alpine, downhill, nooo moguls. the change that needs to be made that is being avoided.

a party in space, that needs to happen. the reality that constructs itself. the perception that interprets and unveils. it's been going on for some time.

if i don't think about that. but it's ok. i guess i'm lucky.

personality types | keirsey temperaments | "Everything is capable of logical prediction"

there are 16 personality types. i am INTJ, the strategist/scientist/mastermind. only 1 percent of the population is intj. you can take an online quiz and find out what you are.

i have felt generally positive about this, until i came across this online after excessive searching. now i need to think. from INTJ - Jung Type Descriptions

"loner, more interested in intellectual pursuits than relationships or family, not very altruistic, not very complimentary, would rather be friendless than jobless, observer, values solitude, perfectionist, detached, private, not much fun, hidden, skeptical, does not tend to like most people, socially uncomfortable, not physically affectionate, unhappy, does not talk about feelings, hard to impress, analytical, likes esoteric things, tends to be pessimistic, not spontaneous, prone to discontentment, guarded, does not think they are weird but others do, responsible, can be insensitive or ambivalent to the misfortunes of others, orderly, clean, organized, familiar with darkside, tends not to value organized religion, suspicious of others, can be lonely, rarely shows anger, punctual, finisher, prepared"

a lot of what's here is ridiculous, as you can see. i even came across a description that flatly said "They do not enjoy physical contact except with a chosen few."

"Everything is capable of logical prediction" from INTJ Personality Type

of course! what an obvious blanket statement! yes, i am an oracle and i profess foresight:

ok i watched some flight of the conchords last night and i'm going out and finding the dvd today. i haven't laughed that hard since the pinata at babayan's party this summer.

shoot i gotta roll, moving at the speed of dave. massage at inman sq oasis, getting xmas tree in union sq, then shopping with jeff.

new music, festival of new musics is not new music. making your own instruments, like the mae shi. omg watched a diva's christmas carol last night. now that was something else. i got a dvd of a really old production of scrooge for a buck at target. i think that's gonna have to get watched.

my todo list extends into infinity.

aright, in a minute.

the wintry mix and its discontents

looks like the pats game is over. chris couldn't go because his car got snowed in. he walked home last night. i brought a wreath home that we picked up in porter, i couldn't find my car for a bit, so i was stomping around davis with a giant wreath.

showed up with jake and chris to a couple parties, some christmas stuff and sweaters and hamilton people. was fun, played wii bowling a lil, stared at christmas lights.

we chilled (vodka triple sec cranberry juice). dealt with the awkweirdness, sank guacamole.

went out, from davis to porter, took over a room, accepted a dead guy rogue ale, bud light, crackers and cheese. went to the chinese place close to davis sq, got kicked out at 2am sharp.

back to porter, dumprings, watched the first half hour of superbad, left with jake, considered getting a cab and talked to three girls smoking butts on a porch on elm st. i picked up the wreath and hoofed it to broadway, eventually finding the right street.

got home way too late, woke up early, met clynton's brother and his family, showed him ps3, kicked snow, got sick, neighbors downstairs gave me their shovel, dug out the car, drove here, hash browns, celtics boogie, jets miss the field goal.

pomegranates. juiced. seeds. do the watermelons give me health?

live couch poetry

live couch poetry. purple tshirt, dkny jeans, whose aquafina is that? the target parking lot was full, but i'll be back.

i'm in the mood to go see Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, looks like a really good movie, it's playing in davis sq at 9:45, i think i'm gonna walk there from north cambridge.

college hoops, hockey, family guy. i won't be at the pats game tmrw but i will be watching. pats and celts both start at 1pm, which is weak, so i'll be flipping back and forth, likely at home, dono who will join me.

the vodka is called reyka, it comes from iceland, claims to be volcano filtered. pumice is as rough as it sounds.

holy cow google maps street view, take a walk, anywhere. eyes in the back of your head.

shopping over the internet, purchasing online, spending fun tickets on a website. packages arrive, ups notes are left, cardboard packing tape and this side up.

arg i need chocolate mousse and cupcakes and carrot cake and cheese cake and a breakfast at matt murphys with eggs and that amazing bread. i never drink coffee anymore

i should really just find a place in cambridge where i can get my haircut. i gotta man up and go get a tree, shoot, but do i need a tree holder first (mental note)?

don't pay any attention to biorhythms

not personal at all

this blog isn't personal at all. oh wait yeah it is.

there are a lot of things i want to write about, i've been thinking about them over the past hour or so. but now i can't remember anything so i'll just write whatever i feel like

ended up not going to mideast or to the party tonight (both good calls). ended up watching thomas crown affair and discussing body doubles. right. they're like 90 years old

oh yeah if you study film eventually you learn two things -- 1. hollywood is 75% heterosexual romance -- 2. the american narrative structure is based on melodrama

put them together and what do you get? every other mainstream film contains a melodramatic heterosexual romance. movies suck. movies are bad. i took a whole class where all we did was study melodrama, and it opened my eyes. but i digress

so tonight was chill. i ended up picking up jeff and giving him a ride home. gave him a couple hats. he had gotten steak fries and a steak and cheese (nasty).

i had the best tea ever, royal blend. theres a place called carberrys right near me that's nice too

but if i wanna write everything then what if i write everything? then i'll just come across as long-winded and lacking direction. but this blog isn't personal. it's not personal at all. oh wait what else is it

because there's so such thing as objectivity. there's no such thing as objectivity. there is no such thing as objectivity.

k this is kinda becoming a marathon post, but it's ok, roll with it.

i drove across the bu bridge and looked at the snow on the arch. the river is freezing over. what kind of winter is this? oh yeah it's like any other boston winter.

people live in boston and don't like it. they don't like it. boston or the weather. i'm not one of these people, but i understand these people. (or do i?)

criticizing, second guessing, how many other ways are they to say questioning yourself?

almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. i used to think i was cool for knowing this. but now i know that playing horseshoes is good times and hand grenades are terrible and not something to joke about.

i'll try to keep my mouth shut. i have to remember to not joke about that. gunner palace.

sun will rise, it won't last forever. i should be asleep. dram, dream, dredge, dreary, driven to drain dirigibles.

my best year is next year

my best year is next year. seeing people, talking to people, not seeing people, not talking to people.

"don't you feel like sometimes you get totally f+++ing robbed?" "yes"

sitting here, waiting for c, should be any minute. celtics are on, mr lif at middle east tonight (with special teamz). party in davis. what's gonna happen in the next 6 hours? your guess is as good as mine

genius bombs are being dropped on me.

"we can find a market for that"

kinda playing video games, kinda want a wii, kinda want full immersion virtual reality

i remember being in cyber theory class (i think) and talking about total immersion, like in strange days. total immersion.

the games of the future won't feel like games. they'll be like the sims, except you'll be one of the people

it boggles the mind how much time and energy people spend on gaming. let's hope all this effort eventually gets diverged to something more productive (but i diverge)

what happens if you look at a jackson pollock painting upside down? if it was painted while horizontal, what dimensionality does a plane attain?

i'm deliberately mentally meandering.

the shirtless man in shorts shovelling the sidewalk in front of the middle east

the shirtless man in shorts shovelling the sidewalk in front of the middle east

i spent a while in the car today. i drove through waltham, arlington, belmont, cambridge, boston, brookline, somerville. the going was slow. it is now the 14th.

i know someone that got a dog.

i'm talking with someone now that i haven't talked to in a long time.

i'm trying to make a decision (but am i really?).

i am becoming more disparate, disentangled, disassociated, disassembled. under mi sleng teng

i don't so much type as splat, i don't so much write as blotter, i don't so much compose as dispose, i don't so much blog as scribble, i don't so much report as ramble, i don't so much compile as pile on.

i'm thinking about the way the snow makes you feel. the snow falls and rests, flake on flake, in drifts that rest on car doors and church walls.

i sit in my living room and the snow continues to fall, and the inches on the sloping roof of the church tumble down.

at dartmouth the snow and ice used to fall off the buildings directly into the path you were about to be walking in. i saw many abandoned cars on the road tonight

k. let's listen to duke ellington's nutcracker suite. then vince guaraldi charlie brown christmas. then hot chocolate, then dream

back home | ambivalence | my roommates make me happy

back home. i'm ambivalent about continuing living in boston. which is weird, because i have so much fun here and i love everyone here and i know i would miss everyone so much if i left.

i'm lucky though, cause i live with amazing roommates. clynton had to pull an all nighter and they're hilarious

"yeah but he's a fashion designer and he has like diplomatic immunity from being gay"

i'm reminded of how we wrote quotes all over the walls of tabard, especially the bathroom walls. over the course of a term, a year, an undergraduate career, you read the same quotes dozens, hundreds, thousands of times. it would be a short quote and then a persons house name, or a couple house names, which you either knew or didnt

so my roommates are funny and make me laugh constantly. i don't know how or why i ever lived alone. whoops.

i want tmrw to be a big day and to get things done (but do i really?). looks like a storm's coming, uhoh, noreaster. i learned about what a northeaster was once but forgot. i've come to understand i did a lot of work in college but it wasn't sustained enough.

i'm gonna cop oh no's dr. no's oxperiment.

lemme get back at you

all good things must come to an end

all good things must come to an end. headed back soon, all awaits.

today andy and i drove to venice beach, walked up and down, i got some hats and shirts as gifts for friends. we went to coffee bean and in n out. i've packed my jazz and am redz.

i'm going back with a couple notions and a whole new appreciation for warm weather. literally on the 11pm news here they talked about how cold it is here. it's pretty funny. rob b called me today and we'll hang out soon. there are other people i need to get in touch with.

i got a dodgers hat, be ready to call me out on it.

i'm gonna go back to central sq and play call of duty. i get to use the excuse of being jet lagged for at least a couple days. i'm looking forward to doing things on thursday and friday. tmrw night i'm not sure if i'll make it back out after getting dropped off at home.

check ya in the morning

in song and dance

in song and dance.

time to go out to the porch and catch rays. i've been really lucky with the weather here. kind. my plane leaves here at 12:50PM tmrw. i've gotten some random photos and will hopefully get more today. ideally andy will get out of work and we'll go to the beach.

listening to wmbr, as always. my fav shows are motivashunal muzik, choice is yourz, generoso's bovine ska and rocksteady, the intercontinental, subject to change, sans serif, lost and found, nonstop ecstatic screaming, time travelling, and backwoods

i've finally gotten to the point where reading online news articles on my laptop is a little tiresome. i should start using my old computer again maybe, set it up somewhere. not a bad idea actually. i can't wait to see what new laptops apple is coming out with in the next month.

i used to check maccentral and macosrumors religiously. yikes. i can think about my attention span and ability to focus and how it relates to using computers and reading. it's pretty astounding. i am now able to be twice as productive writing, reading, or computing. i now feel the need to create and produce because it is so much more effortless.

i like it out here in cali, but i wouldn't be moving til the second half of 2008. i'm not sure how i can begin thinking of it more as a possibility than a fiction.
